Cantel buys Minntech for $70 million

Executive Summary
Cantel Medical is to buy US dialysis and device reprocessor company Minntech in a transaction valued at around $70 million. Little Falls, New Jersey-based Cantel is to pay $10.50 for each Minntech share - $6.25 in cash and a fraction of a share of Cantel with a value of $4.25. Minntech announced it was in divestment talks earlier this month (see Clinica No 959, p 17).
