Medisys sees benefits of diagnostics acquisition

Forthcoming product launches have allowed UK company Medisys to remain upbeat about its prospects, despite its half-year losses increasing from £2.4 million ($3.4 million) to £3.1 million. For the six months ended March 2000, the company's turnover leapt 160% to £10.4 million. The majority of this increase came from the acquisition of the diagnostics business of MEDgenesis, a subsidiary of Chronimed.
