Thermogenesis has CE-marked for sale in Europe its CP-2 plasma processing disposable product and FS applicator system. The CP-2 is used with the company's previously CE-marked CryoSeal CS-1 system to prepare fibrin sealant from a single unit of human plasma in about one hour. The FS applicator enables doctors to precisely apply fibrin sealant to bleeding wound sites during surgery. The Rancho Cordova, California company believes that Europe accounts for about 25% of the worldwide fibrin sealant market, which it estimates to be worth $400 million annually.
