X-SITE Medical has CE-marked for sale in Europe its suture-based device for sealing arterial access sites following catheterisation procedures. The X-PRESS vascular closure system, which the company claims can permit early ambulation after catheterisation, works by percutaneously delivering single or multiple loops of suture across the arterial puncture.
