Executive Summary
Endonetics has begun European clinical trials of its endoscopic treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease. The Gatekeeper repair system is designed to allow the endoscopist to perform an outpatient, non-surgical, anti-reflux procedure in around an hour or less, says the San Diego, California company. Endonetics hopes to file for a CE marking to sell the device in Europe in the first half of the year.
