AngioDynamics, which specialises in the supply of peripheral vascular disease products for use by interventional radiologists, is to distribute Transonic Systems' haemodynamic flow meter. Transonic's endovascular flow meter will be marketed using AngioDynamics' brand name under a five-year agreement. The system comprises the AngioDynamics Flowmeter and the ReoCath dilution flow catheter, and measures blood flow rates to monitor the success of procedures such as haemodialysis catheter placement, stenting and peripheral balloon angioplasty.
