Edward Rozynski, who founded AdvaMed's international programme 13 years ago and has run it ever since, is leaving to set up his own industry consultancy. The rangy Mr Rozynski, dubbed the Michael Jordan of international device lobbying by a friend at Medtronic, is perhaps best known for his tough negotiations with Japan - if not for his fondness for cigars and golf.
