SonoSite (Bothell, Washington) has promoted Blake Little to the position of senior engineering officer and technology spokesperson. Mr Little, who most recently served as vice-president of engineering, replaces Jens Quistgaard. Dr Quistgaard has left SonoSite to take up the position of CEO at start-up medical device company LipoSonix (Bothell, Washington). LipoSonix, which was founded in 2001 by members of The Innovation Factory, an Atlanta-based group focused on launching companies to develop life sciences technologies, develops proprietary technologies for noninvasive cosmetic surgery applications.
