Surgical instrument manufacturer Aesculap, of Center Valley, Pennsylvania, has granted Terumo Cardiovascular Systems exclusive distribution rights to its Acculan line of cordless sternal saws for cardiac surgery applications in Canada and the US. Under the deal, Terumo will sell the products as Terumo cordless sternal saws. Ann Arbour, Michigan-based Terumo Cardiavascular Systems says it will continue to sell its own Sarns brand sternal saw worldwide.
