Medical device company Credent (Wrexham, Wales) has appointed Ian Kent as chairman. Mr Kent currently serves as chairman for a number of venture capital funded biopharma companies. It has also announced the appointments of Malcom Boddy as managing director of Credent Vascular Technologies and Rod Ruston as regulatory affairs director. Mr Boddy, who has over 40 years in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, has served several companies including Smith & Nephew and Baxter Healthcare. Mr Ruston will maintain his responsibilities as director of Priory Analysts.
