Wright Medical and LifeCell are to develop a product based on LifeCell's proprietary acellular tissue matrix technology for use in orthopaedic surgery. Branchburg, New Jersey-based LifeCell's technology allows for the removal of cells from allograft tissue and the preservation of tissue without damaging the essential biochemical and structural components necessary for normal tissue regeneration. Arlington, Tennessee-based Wright will market the finished product.
