Saudi Arabia last week opened a new centre for kidney and heart diseases. Covering an area of 3,250 square meters, the prince Sultan Centre has 31 dialysis units and a 12-bed intensive care unit for heart patients. The centre was opened by the minister for defence and aviation, Prince Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, who also donated SR5 million ($1.33 million) to the centre which bears his name, reports Arab News.
