Executive Summary
The Irish government is to provide I£27 million ($31 million) to Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, to build and equip "significantly improved facilities", including five new full operating theatres and two day theatres. The funds are to be provided through the Eastern Regional Health Authority, under the national development plan. Work is to begin next month and the new facilities are not due to become operational until early 2004.
