Rockwell Medical Technologies has gained exclusive rights to sell Osaka, Japan-based Nipro Medical's haemodialysis blood tubing sets in the US in a five-year deal. Wixom, Michigan-based Rockwell says the US blood tubing market is worth around $150 million annually. Rockwell, which manufactures and delivers dialysis solutions and ancillary products to haemodialysis providers, says most dialysis clinics prefer to get their ancillary products from their concentrate supplier. The deal "should enable us to double our annual sales revenue just from supplying our current base of customers", said Rob Chioni, Rockwell's president.
