Laser therapy clears acne, finds study:

In a study that could provide acne sufferers with an alternative treatment to creams and antibiotics, UK researchers have found that a single dose of laser therapy effectively treats this common disease. The study, published in The Lancet (October 25) by researchers at London's Hammersmith Hospital, is the first to assess the use of pulse-dye laser (PDL) therapy for this problem. The double-blind, randomised trial of 41 adults found that PDL therapy halved the severity of acne, with the most rapid improvements seen in the first four weeks after treatment.
