Executive Summary
The Scottish Executive has today (October 24 2003) released £4.7m ($8m) to support its coronary heart disease and stroke strategy. The funding will go towards a range of projects, but most notably the establishment of a network of rapid access chest pain clinics. This is the second tranche of the £40m pledged to support CHD/Stroke Strategy announced in 2002.
