Executive Summary
From the end of October 2003, Trade Partners UK and Invest UK are changing their name to UK Trade & Investment, after merging some two years ago. This new identity reflects the "closer relationship of trade and investment work, and our continuing commitment to provide an integrated service, delivering business opportunities through a global network", says TPUK, the import/export section of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), for whom healthcare is a priority sector. The merged body will have a single web site at www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk. The DTI also provides a Sales Leads Service and a Suppliers Database, which are accessible via www.tradeuk.com.
