Executive Summary
The Danish medical device industry association, Medicoindustrien, has set up joint working group with the hospital and research communities to increase co-operation between the industry and professionals involved in medical and technical research. The new set-up is known as the Future Workshop Group and is intended to promote innovation by a sharing of ideas. Those promoting the initiative met on August 15 to and appointed subgroups which will present proposals for a website, to be located at "medicofremtid.dk", as well as the first symposium which is planned for next March.
