Executive Summary
The French Health Ministry has banned for a year the sale and use of certain equipment used for taking and interpreting images taken by digital mammography. It has set out, in a Decision published in the Journal officiel of August 9, a list of minimum requirements for these products. Equipment that fails to meet these standards cannot be used from November 9 2003.
