The FDA has announced a change in the way companies will pay user fees. Beginning August 25, companies will no longer have to fax the user fee coversheet to the agency, but will be able to file it electronically. Firms will have to create a user account first and get a password to assure data security, said Frank Claunts, the FDA's user fee finance co-ordinator.
