Vital Images (Minneapolis, Minnesota) says that the $20.3m it has raised in a private offering will fund the rollout of its medical imaging software, Vitrea 2. Used in diagnostic evaluation of computed tomography and magnetic resonance images, Vitrea 2 enables the user to create 2- and 3-dimensional views of the body and navigate within them interactively.
