Health law experts led by Professor Bartha Knoppers at the University of Montreal have established a website featuring international regulatory issues of interest to the healthcare industries - in particular for firms involved in genetics. Issues relating to medical devices and diagnostics and genetic testing are also featured, said team member Sylvain Poitras. Mr Poitras, visiting scholar with the team for 2003, was formerly legal counsel (responsible for regulatory affairs) at Medtronic Europe's headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.
