British Biocell International (Cardiff, Wales), a manufacturer of immunogold and silver reagents for research and diagnostic applications, has appointed Jim Carney as technical director. Dr Carney, who has over 27 years of experience in the commercial biotechnology sector, has also been appointed to the board. The company has also announced the appointment of Don Cardy as research director. Dr Cardy, who has also been appointed to the board, most recently served as R&D director at Cytocell.
