Sweden's Sangtec Molecular Diagnostics has CE-marked for sale in Europe its PCR-based test for monitoring cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. The affigene CMV diagnostics kit is the first product in Sangtec's product range to gain European market approval. "Three assays for monitoring of Hepatitis B have already been filed and are waiting for approval," says Therese Sundell, the Stockholm firm's international product manager.
