Jomed's German arm, Jomed GmbH, has licensed a new polymer coating for its drug-coated stent development work, shortly after giving up on a ceramic alternative. The Medi-Coat drug delivery coating provided by STS Biopolymers offers controlled release of drugs over a period of days, weeks or months.
