Swedish cancer and neurosurgery radiation specialist Elekta is to acquire Neuromag, a magneto-encephalography (MEG) firm based in Helsinki, Finland, for about E4m ($4.4m). Neuromag, which claims to be the leading global supplier of noninvasive MEG brain monitoring systems, has developed technology that can map brain functions in real time.
