CR Bard has filed suit against Arrow International and Diatek, a long-term haemodialysis catheter developer that Arrow bought last November. Bard claims that Diatek's Cannon-Cath split-tip dialysis catheters infringe a patent its Bard Access Systems subsidiary licensed from from Spire Biomedical last October. The patent is owned by the inventor of the catheter, Thierry Pourchez.
