Executive Summary
Cbyon has CE-marked for sale in Europe its computer-enhanced visualisation and navigation software product for minimally invasive surgery. The Cbyon Suite provides software and tools for specific surgical applications. It converts diagnostic imaging data, typically displayed on a 2-D basis, into a 3-D depiction of the patient's internal anatomy. Surgeons use this volumetric image to visualise internal structures that are behind or beyond surfaces that are visible to an endoscope, says the Mountain View, California company. The Cbyon Suite is already cleared in the US for use in neurological, ENT and spinal surgery.
