This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Rancho Cordova, California-based ThermoGenesis has appointed Beijing Hi-Inc Health Technology Incubator (BHHTI) as distributor for its CryoSeal FS System and disposables in China. Under the agreement, BHHTI will obtain Chinese regulatory approval and reimbursement for the system, designed to manufacture an autologous fibrin sealant from a unit of the patient's own blood plasma. China's current $15m haemostatic materials market is expected to grow to $100m by 2008, driven by the high adoption rate of fibrin sealant and other haemostatic materials, said ThermoGenesis.
