Executive Summary
HealthTronics has entered an agreement with Carlsbad, California-based Qualigen to co-market the latter's FastPack analyser and its PSA and testosterone FastPack test kits. The system enables physicians to provide rapid, in-office testing for total PSA and free PSA - used in the management of prostate cancer - and for testosterone - used in the diagnosis of various male ageing disorders. According to HealthTronics, of Austin, Texas, Qualigen currently has an installed base of over 400 FastPack systems.
