Amicas, Ridgefield-Connecticut-based VitalWorks' newly conglomerated radiology and picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) business, is teaming up with Heartlab (Westerly, Rhode Island) to offer integrated cardiology and radiology PACS solutions. Healthcare providers will be able to launch both the Heartlab Encompass cardiology viewer and Amicas's Vision radiology viewer through Amicas's workflow tool, RealTime Worklist, which provides a colour-coded list of all available cardiology and radiology studies for a given patient.
