Problems facing enteral and parenteral feeding in Germany are being ignored and the situation must be rectified to benefit an increasingly ageing population. This was the view expressed by the medical devices industry association (BVMed) in response to the conclusion of the 26th Congress of the European Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ESPEN) in Lisbon this week.
