Noam Shani has been appointed vice-president of biology research and development for Compugen, a genomics-based drug and diagnostic discovery firm based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr Shani joins Compugen, who supply companies such as Abbott, Novartis and Pfizer, from Medgenics, where he served as vice-president of research and development.
