Executive Summary
iCAD has entered a three-year, worldwide licensing and distribution agreement with Internazionale Medico Scientifica (IMS), in which the Italian multinational will market iCAD's Second Look digital computer aided detection software, together with its IMS Giotto Image full field digital mammography system. The system has been cleared for sale worldwide except in the US, while iCAD's product is expected to be launched internationally in 2005. The agreement with IMS has come just over a month after Nashua, New Hampshire-based iCAD struck a similar deal with Siemens (see Clinica No 1116, p 15).
