The European Commission has published an updated list of standards that apply to active implantable medical devices and which, once manufacturers comply, demonstrate that products are in conformity with the relevant requirements of the Active Implantable Medical Devices Directive (90/385/EEC). The list has been published in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
