The German medical technology association, BVMed, has formed a sectoral interest group to develop guidelines for the rapidly growing spine surgery market. The new division will work towards proposals that will reflect the various surgical procedures carried out by neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons in line with the hospital DRG system.
