Cuba/Japan enterology agreement proceeds

Executive Summary

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has donated a video-colonoscopy system to Cuba's national gastroenterology institute (ING), as part of an agreement to exchange clinical methodology and good practice. The Selera CV160 system will enable the institute to perform early and accurate diagnoses of small lesions and to operate on these using the system's high-resolution display, the Cuban government said.
