Reconstructive orthopaedic devices manufacturer Corin (Cirencester, UK) has formed a direct sales subsidiary in Australia, where there is a growing market for Corin's implants that target the active "baby boomer" generation. Initially, sales efforts will be focused on New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. Corin (Australia) has acquired £1.4m ($2.6m) worth of stock from Baxter Healthcare, which previously distributed Corin's products.
