Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) is recalling four lots of its Vitros troponin I reagent pack after receiving complaints of random occurrences of false-positive results. Troponin tests are used as an aid in the diagnosis of heart attacks, and error readings could lead to unnecessary medical procedures. The company maintains no injuries have been reported to date.
