The German medical device industry association (BVMed) this week published English-language guidelines on introducing innovations into the diagnosis related groups (DRG) system for hospital reimbursement. Entitled: "Guidelines on the local and decentralised introduction of innovative and novel medical devices", the 52-page brochure offers companies with innovative products a scheme to follow to determine the best way to introduce their devices into German hospitals under the new system, a BVMed spokesperson told Clinica.
