For German acute point of care solutions manufacturer Drager Medical, 2003 was a watershed year given the merger with the patient monitoring business of Siemens Medical Solutions. For Drager Medical president and CEO Wolfgang Reim, the deal was a resounding success, coming after three years of restructuring efforts.
