Executive Summary
Quest Diagnostics, the largest commercial testing laboratory in the US, has agreed to offer Digene's DNA test for human papillomavirus to physicians for routine cervical cancer screening in women aged 30 and older. It will be used in conjunction with the traditional Pap smear. Previously, the test was provided by Quest as a follow-up evaluation in cases of ambiguous Pap results.
