Noel Doheny has joined Dutch company Qiagen (Venlo) as vice-president of solutions for molecular diagnostics. In this role he will be responsible for developing strategy and market activities related to nucleic acid sample preparation for clinical diagnostics, as molecular testing becomes more used by clinical laboratories. This activity already represents 20% of Qiagen's sales.
