Claims by certain German regional statutory health insurance physicians associations (KVs) that blood and urine test strips for diabetes either require co-payments, or are simply no longer reimbursable under the new healthcare modernisation law (GMG) are an "illegal attempt to cash in on the chronically ill". So said the diagnostics industry association, VDGH today in Berlin.
