F. Barry Bays, current executive chairman of Arlington, Tennessee-based Wright Medical Group, has been named interim president and CEO of the orthopaedic medical device company. Mr Bays previously held this post from January 2000 until July 2004. The move follows a downturn in the firm's earnings outlook and the consequent resignation of former president and CEO Laurence Fairey. James Treace, board member, will serve as interim chairman.
