The new board of directors that will take Eucomed into 2006 was confirmed at the association's annual general meeting in Munich, Germany, on October 7, writes Amanda Maxwell. Drago Cerchiari, CEO of Sorin - a company with roots firmly implanted in Europe - was elected chairman of the board of directors. He assumes the role from Michel Darnaud, former president, Europe, of Boston Scientific.
