J&J Wound Management recalls sterile swabs

Johnson & Johnson Wound Management has launched an urgent, voluntary recall of all sterile Ray-Tec X-ray detectable gauze swabs in the UK market. A limited number of products in other countries have also been affected. The action is being taken in light of a packaging defect that emerged at a single UK production facility that has left "minute perforations in the outer packaging".
