Executive Summary
On September 1 2005, Alex Kotzer, former vice-president of Serono (Switzerland), will become president and CEO of the genomics-based drug and diagnostic discovery firm Compugen, based in Tel Aviv, Israel. He will replace Dr Mor Amitai, who is resigning. Under Mr Kotzer the company hopes to develop its predictive research capabilities and to commercialise its discovery engines and diagnostic products.
