Dade Behring has voluntarily recalled six lots of its B1015-14 MicroScan Rapid Pos inoculum broth in the US, because of a risk that they could result in false antiobiotic susceptibility tests. The 68 laboratories that had received the product have been contacted and offered replacement products, and no injuries have been reported, according to the Deerfield, Illinois company.
