The American Cancer Society (New Rochelle, New York) has appointed Marc Koch to its regional board of advisors for Westchester County, New York. Dr Koch is to help increase colon cancer screening rates in the county through promotion of improved diagnostic methods and anaesthetics. Dr Koch is founder, president and CEO of Somnia, an ambulatory anaesthesia service supplier.
